Settlement reached with UEFA

On Friday 22 March 2024, Pogust Goodhead and Bingham Long announced that a full and final settlement had been reached with UEFA for the potential claims of supporters of Liverpool football club in connection with the 2022 Champions League Final in Paris, France.

Following constructive discussions, UEFA offered supporters compensation in respect of the difficulties and challenges they were confronted with at the game, without accepting liability. That offer was accepted.

The terms of the settlement remain confidential.

Paul McGrath KC and Daniel Fox acted for the Liverpool supporters, instructed by Tony Winterburn, Michael Burke, and Paul Hudson of Pogust Goodhead; and Gerard Long, Jamie Haddadi, and James Twigg of Bingham Long.
