On 22nd March 2019, David Foxton QC delivered the keynote speech at the London School of Economics on “The ‘Acceptable’ Cartel? Horizontal Agreements under Competition Law and Beyond”. The workshop was held to mark the centenary of the House of Lords decision on restraint of trade in McEllistrim v Ballymacelligott Co-Operative Agricultural and Dairy Society Limited [1919] AC 548.  The workshop was organised by Professor Imelda Maher of University College Dublin and Niamh Dunne of the London ASchool of Economics.
