Essex Court Chambers has been shortlisted in the Chambers of the Year category at The Lawyer Awards 2023.
The Lawyer Awards celebrate the best of the legal sector, both private practice and in-house legal professionals.
This latest nomination reflects the quality and range of international commercial disputes handled at all levels, as well as a superlative clerking team and support function.
Essex Court Chambers tops the league tables for appearances in commercial litigation during 2015-2022. Chambers’ unparalleled pedigree in the field of international arbitration is also reflected in a top listing on the Who’s Who Legal Arbitration 2023 Leader Board. In addition to such market recognition, 14 members have taken silk in the past three years, together with substantial cross-recruitment in the fields of insolvency, modern chancery and international arbitration; whilst six members sit as Deputy Judges of the High Court, including Louise Hutton KC and Paul Stanley KC who took up their appointments earlier this year.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony taking place on Tuesday 20 June at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.
