Members and staff of Essex Court Chambers are celebrating the appointment of six new Silks today.
Neil Hart, Edward Brown, Jeremy Brier, Tim Akkouh, Emily Wood and Lucas Bastin will be sworn in as Silk at a ceremony taking place today at the Palace of Westminster, following their appointment earlier this year.
Senior Clerk Joe Ferrigno commented “I am delighted to be celebrating the achievement of six new silks today, following five new silk appointments in 2021 and a silk lateral hire. With a total of twelve new silks in just over one year our senior offering continues to move from strength to strength.”
