Joe Ferrigno is Essex Court Chambers’ Senior Clerk.

Joe has a detailed knowledge and understanding of the specialist practice areas of each Member of Chambers. Joe is responsible for the strategic management and development of all members’ practice’ at all levels of seniority within Chambers. He is also responsible for the overall clerking of Chambers, in particular the practice management of the senior Queen’s Counsel, this includes fee negotiations, work allocation and practice development.
Furthermore, Joe is responsible for the general administration of Chambers which includes; Clerks, Finance, Marketing, IT, Human Resources, Facilities and secretarial staff. His key responsibilities include; the development and implementation of the chambers’ strategic business plan, the business development and managing client relationships in the UK and worldwide.
