On Friday 9th June 2017, the Young SIAC group will hold a one-day conference on ‘Evolution and Innovation: Keeping Pace with the Future of Arbitration’.
The welcome address will be given by Davinder Singh SC of Drew & Napier (who is also on the SIAC board of directors) and the day’s programme sees participation from many other high-level corporate counsel and law firm partners from Singapore.
Toby Landau QC and Jern-Fei Ng of Essex Court Chambers will go head-to-head to debate a motion that states the proposition: ‘Arbitrators become better with Age’.
YSIAC aims to promote the use of international arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, both regionally and internationally, and to provide a platform for young professionals to work together to address the unique challenges faced by the legal and business communities across a diverse range of Asian jurisdictions and cultures.
