Kristiane is our Head of Fees and Accounts. Kristiane joined Essex Court Chambers in 2018 having started her Chambers career in 2003 working in the Fees and Finance teams at both Matrix Chambers and 36 Bedford Row prior to that.
Kristiane is responsible for all aspects of members’ fees and accounts including fee collection, ensuring targets and deadlines are met and leads a team dedicated to this. It is Kristiane’s responsibility to keep up to date with fee regulations and procedures including all queries regarding VAT from members and HMRC.
Kristiane regularly reviews and updates our financial systems and procedures and is responsible for the preparation of members statements, account reconciliation and financial reporting which assists in the preparation of budgets. Kristiane oversees and ensures the smooth running of all accounts related matters.
Kristiane and the team aim to provide the highest levels of service and expertise to our client’s and members. The team are always available to discuss any queries relating to Chambers fees.
