Members of Chambers are delighted to congratulate Professor Paul S Davies for being awarded a prestigious 2020 Philip Leverhulme Prize.
Paul has been awarded the prize for his work on private law of England and Wales, with a particular focus on commercial law. The Award recognises the achievement of up to 30 UK University researchers whose work has already attracted international recognition and whose future career is exceptionally promising.
Paul is a Professor of Commercial Law working in the Faculty of Law at UCL. In addition, he commenced pupillage at Essex Court Chambers on 1 September 2020. He begins his practising period of pupillage, at which point he will be in a position to take instructions, on 1 November 2020. Paul will practise alongside his academic work and will continue in his post at UCL.
