Members of Chambers are pleased to announce that James Willan KC has been appointed a Recorder by the King on the advice of the Lord Chancellor and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales.
James will sit part-time hearing criminal cases in the Crown Courts on the South Eastern Circuit, with his appointment taking effect from 30 May 2023. James will continue his full-time practice as a barrister, in which he acts across the full range of commercial disputes, including in the fields of banking and finance, civil fraud, energy, international arbitration and offshore disputes.
