The International Court of Justice issued an Advisory Opinion on 19 July 2024 in response to a request by the United Nations General Assembly concerning the Legal Consequences arising from the Policies and Practices of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. The General Assembly made its request pursuant to Resolution 77/247 of 30 December 2022.
