Members of Essex Court Chambers are pleased to invite you to a panel discussion and drinks reception upon the publication of McLachlan, The Principle of Systemic Integration in International Law (Oxford UP, 2024).
The event will feature a distinguished panel, chaired by Sir Franklin Berman KCMG KC, and will include contributions from Alison Macdonald KC (Essex Court Chambers), Campbell McLachlan KC (Professor of International Dispute Resolution, University of Cambridge, Associate Member, Essex Court Chambers), and Professor Martins Paparinskis (Professor of Public International Law, University College London). Together, they will explore the relationship between the applicable rules of international law and the role of Article 31(3)(c) of the VCLT in current case-law, both international and national.
