The Commercial Court is pleased to have been able to arrange a series of virtual seminars linking judges, practitioners and academics on a range of “hot topics” within commercial law. The series comprises:

- State Immunity and Commercial Law: An ever-decreasing sphere?: 17 November 2020
- Commercial Contracts: A thing apart?: 2 December 2020
Current and past members of Essex Court Chambers will be taking part in all three seminars that are taking place from October – December.
Cockerill J will form part of a panel in Seminar 1 on 7 October from 5pm – 6:30pm, Professor Dapo Akande will form part of the panel in Seminar 2 on 17 November from 5pm – 6:30pm and Foxton J and Philippa Hopkins QC will join Seminar 3’s panel on 2 December from 5pm – 6:30pm.
