Applications are currently open for the ECC-SAL International Mooting Competition 2020, co-organised by the members of Essex Court Chambers and the Singapore Academy of Law. The Competition will take place between 4 and 8 January 2020 and further details can be found in the flyer.
Now in its 9th year, the Competition presents an ideal opportunity for young lawyers to showcase and hone their skills as advocates. Entries are welcomed from young advocates with fewer than 3 years PQE as at 1 January 2020 from Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore and South Korea.
The winning team will be offered a two-week internship at Essex Court Chambers. Awards will also be given for the Best Orator and Best Memorandum submitted in the competition.
