Melissa Wood began her clerking career in 2010 at Gatehouse Chambers and took a career break in 2017 to raise a family.

Melissa then joined Essex Court Chambers in 2022 as PA to the Senior Clerk and Marketing Co-Ordinator, before joining the clerking team as Team Leader Assistant where she works alongside Ben Perry and David Banks clerking the Junior KC’s of Chambers.
