Members of Essex Court Chambers are delighted to announce a collaborative programme of events directed at issues of diversity in recruitment to the commercial Bar.
Together with Brick Court Chambers, Fountain Court Chambers and One Essex Court, members of chambers will be hosting an event at Middle Temple Hall at 6pm on 6 December 2021 under the headline, “A career as a commercial barrister: a great choice for women”. Women from all four sets will give short presentations about their working lives and work/life balance, and students will have an opportunity to network with barristers. The event will be introduced by The Rt Hon Lady Justice Carr, a Court of Appeal judge and formerly a Commercial Court Judge.
This is the latest in a series of recruitment events across a number of universities. All – including law and non-law students – are welcome to attend.
