Samuel Teo (WongPartnership LLP) and Samuel Wittberger (Herbert Smith Freehills) have won the 2025 Essex Court Chambers – Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) International Mooting Competition. The winners of the competition have each won an all expenses paid two week internship with Essex Court Chambers in London.
The competition, now in its 13th year, is co-organized by members of Essex Court Chambers and the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL), providing young lawyers the opportunity to showcase and develop their advocacy skills on an international platform.
Prizes awarded:
- Champions: Samuel Teo and Samuel Wittberger
- Runner-up: Joshua Goh and Tat Rui Too of PK Wong & Nair
- Best Memorandum: Samuel Teo and Samuel Wittberger
- Best Speaker: Joshua Goh
- Best International Team: Eng Hong Ong and Lee Ji Kean (Malaysia)
