Digital assets: which law, which court?

The Law Commission has launched a project, ‘Digital assets: which law, which court?’, looking at adapting or reforming the conflict of laws rules for cryptocurrency disputes. In advance of its consultation paper, due to be published in the second half of 2023, Sophia Hurst comments on some of the problems encountered in the case law to date and the options available to the Law Commission if it wipes the slate clean.
