Paul Stanley KC and Louise Hutton KC have been appointed Deputy High Court Judges with effect from Monday 23 January 2023.
The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon, has appointed 29 Deputy High Court Judges, under section 9(4) of the Senior Courts Act 1981, for a single fixed six-year term. Paul and Louise have been appointed following an open competition run by the Judicial Appointments Commission.
Both Paul and Louise will remain in practice at Essex Court Chambers.
