DESCRIPTION:The Panel will discuss the recent state immunity case law in th
 e UK and elsewhere with a view to understanding not only the current explo
 sion in state immunity cases\, but the reception of this explosion in the 
 courts\, and the status of state immunity once they are resolved.  The Pa
 nel includes multiple counsel who have appeared or are appearing for claim
 ants and sovereigns in state immunity cases in the Court of Appeal of Engl
 and and Wales and the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom\, as well as the
