Essex Court Chambers has two out of ten “Stars at the Bar” – James Willan and Emily Wood

8 October, 2010

Every year, Legal Week identifies up-and-coming young barristers who are being tipped for the top. In order to be considered, all candidates have to be 10 years’ and under called and a member of the Commercial or Chancery Bar. The selection is based on the opinions of over 70 people within the Bar, as well as instructing solicitors.

This year, no fewer than two of the ten up-and-coming barristers ‘pegged among the best of the new generation’ are from Essex Court Chambers: James Willan and Emily Wood.
