Jern-Fei Ng has been appointed to serve on the committee of the Young SIAC.

The YSIAC is a forum for young professionals to exchange expertise, ideas and experience in international arbitration and serves a platform to allow young professionals interested in alternative dispute resolution in Asia and worldwide to network among like-minded peers and to build mentoring relationships between young professionals and experienced practitioners. Its activities are run by a committee consisting of arbitration lawyers and in-house counsel from different jurisdictions in Asia and elsewhere across the globe.

Jern-Fei Ng was called to the Bar in 2002 and has been instructed as counsel in some 90 arbitrations and arbitration-related court proceedings and was named by Legal Week as one of ten Stars at the Bar for 2012. Comments as published in the directories include: “QC in waiting” and “formidable advocate” with “top class” experience and a “blue-chip practice”, with “ringing endorsements from the market” and an ability to “present practical legal solutions that not only win you the battles, but also the war.” He has experience as an arbitrator, with eight appointments over the past year, including appointments by the HKIAC, LCIA, PCA and SIAC.
